Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We identified up-regulated or down-regulated genes using DNA microaary analysis and identified up-regulated or down-regulated microRNAs using microRNA array analysis in fibrosis. We made integrin αVβ5 stable transfectants using normal dermal fibroblasts and confirmed overexpression of extracellular matrix genes and down-regulation of proteases, such as MMP-1. We examined the phenotype of fibroblast-specific integrin αV transgenic mice.
