Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Bioinformatics analysis showed that seventy-one out of total 502 splicing variants of ABC transporters, which are registered in Ensembl, were detected as candidates of potential colon-cancer-specific-splice-variants. Experimental validations were performed for some of these candidates by RT-qPCR. ENST000005135112, one of ABCA12 splice variants, had reproducibility. This result strongly suggests that ENST000005135112 is a colon-cancer-specific-splice-variant.
