| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
日本外傷データバンクの登録データの一部を用い、16歳以上の外傷患者を対象とし、緊急室到着時に直ちに情報が得られる年齢と生理学的指標（Glasgow coma scale, 呼吸数, 収縮期血圧）から簡便に得られる重症度スコア（Trauma rating index in age, Glasgow coma scale, respiratory rate and systolic blood pressure, TRIAGES score）を作成し、日本外傷データバンクの残りのデータとCRASH-2（Clinical randomisation of antifibrinolytics in significant hemorrhage -2）試験のデータを用いてスコアの性能を既存のthe revised trauma score (RTS)とthe mechanism, Glasgow coma scale, and pressure (MGAP) scoreと比較し、簡便なTRIAGES scoreがより高い予測精度が得られることを検証した。査読付きジャーナルへの投稿を行っている。残念ながらLancet誌には受理されなかったが、その後にデータソースを日本外傷データバンク2016年度版にアップデートしてさらにBritish Medical Journal 誌に投稿した。こちらも受理されなかったので、現在JAMA誌に再投稿すべく準備中である。本研究は、すでに、日本救急医学会の主催する多施設前向き共同研究（JAAM FORECAST 研究）で外部検証が行われている。また、外傷領域の診断精度研究と転帰予測研究を中心とした複数の派生研究が進行し、そこからすでに2論文がBritish Journal of Surgery誌とJournal of the American College of Surgeons誌に掲載された。
