Outline of Final Research Achievements |
A ground-effect wing machine is transportation equipment gliding on the ground or the surface of the water. When a plane flies the sky, the big vortex called the wingtip whirlpool occurs from the both ends of the wing and this becomes the resistance and is connected for energy loss. The wing which bent the wingtip called the wing let appears to decrease this wingtip whirlpool, but, as for the ground-effect wing machine, big mileage improvement is possible.
