Research Abstract |
Detection of the environmental pollution is an emerging issue having strong social demand. In this proposal, we proposed establishment of a biological monitoring system for DNA damaging agents, which include radiation and chemical mutagens. Medaka is a small experimental model fish and very suitable for field experiments. We tried to establish a medaka line, which produces fluorescent light responding to DNA damage.
