Research Abstract |
We demonstrated validation of fundamental performance as nano temperature and strain sensors using combination of single-walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) with plasmon enhanced field at metal nano gap. By analyzing surface-enhanced Raman spectra of SWNT, we found that detection of temperature raise and strain at nanometer scale become possible.
