Research Abstract |
In this research, we will develop "Body on a Chip" by accomplishing three aims, 1) development of microfluidic platform for construction of 3D micro tissues, 2) construction of 3D micro tissues using human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) and 3) development of "Body on a Chip" by interconnecting multiple 3D micro tissue within a microfluidic device. Specifically, A. Development of high throughput microfluidic device (HT-microFD); B. Establishment of multiple 3D micro tissues within a HT-microFD using hPSCs; C. Construction of of "Body on a Chip" by interconnecting multiple 3D micro tissue within a microfluidic device.
