Research Abstract

It is known that RNA splicing is repressed in response to heat-stress. Here we examined if the U1 snRNP-independent splicing plays a role in efficient splicing of hsp genes under heat condition. Moreover, we identified an RNA-binding protein required for induction of alternative splicing of hsp105 in response to heat-stress.
