Outline of Final Research Achievements

Masticatory ability has been evaluated using standardized food material so far. However, considering the clinical application of masticatory evaluation for dysphagia patient, evaluation method with daily food material has been expected to be established.
As a result of present project, a new evaluation method has been established which enabled the evaluation of masticatory ability using daily foods with high sensitivity and specificity.
