Outline of Final Research Achievements

This study aimed to describe the accuracy of evaluating skin graft-versus-host disease(GVHD) after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) by registered nurses who work in HSCT units in Japan using the Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (CTCAE).
The items with low correct answer rates has wide-range standards for decision of grading. In addition, nurses tended to miss choosing the correct kinds and grades of rashes. Thus, it might be difficult to distinguish different type of rashes. Educational programs are required if CTCAE skin GVHD evaluations will be introduced.
