最終年度は、これまでに共同研究者のもとで収集した鳥類のさえずりのすべてのデータを、新たに確立した複雑ネットワークの手法を用いて分析を行った。特に、カリフォルニア大学ロサンゼルス校のTaylor教授のもとで採取したチャバライカル（Black-headed Grosbeak）の異なる地域の個体のさえずりデータを中心的に分析し、生息地域が異なっていても音要素レベルでは高い割合で共有されるのに対して、音要素間の遷移はほとんど共有されないという性質を明らかにした。この結果については、International Symposium on Artificial Life and Roboticsの招待セッションBird song as self-organized systemsにおいてExploring Birdsong Structure Using Networksというタイトルで講演を行った。また、鳥類のさえずりの解析手法に関して分担執筆を担当した論文（A. Kershenbaum et al. 2014）はBiological Reviewsで出版された。
