Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In Japan, the creation of "new public" has become a policy issue. To solve this issue, we must involve "young" generation that will support the community life in the future. This study aimed to clarify the re-producing process of intergenerational relations in practices of the community sports club. Local inhabitants had tried to solve their life problems together with the "young" baseball players. This practice was performed in activities of "sports-community" which can be directly reflected their life sensations. Therefore, the modern community-sports theory needs to be discussed with the temporal and spatial perspective.
