Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of present study was to develop and practice the agility training by judging situations for college level basketball players. Based on performances in a game of subjects, we developed the training program to improve the movement during change of direction at the defense and practiced it to them for two months. The time to change a direction was shortened in the test measurement after this training, and their movement in the game was improved moderately. These results indicated that the development of training by judging situations based on analysis of present state was effective, and the feedback of the improvement strategy for the game (e.g., step work during quick change of direction) was necessary.
