Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study is to develop a technical assistance support system that applied biomechanics, and to clear the rational skill of basketball player's posture. For a technical analysis of "basketball player's posture", the foot pressure measurement, electromyogram measurement and a two-dimensional motion analysis were performed. The subjects were three skilled and three unskilled basketball players. As a result, it was recognized that skilled ones were more rational than unskilled ones. These results indicated that physical sensation (the feeling of plantar pressure and muscle) influences the performance. Based on this, we developed a technical assistance support system using Balance Wii Board and electromyogram sensors. This system will give quantitative and visual feedback of physical sensations to basketball players immediately, and lead to rationalization of technical assistance support.
