Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The affective aspect of the economy raises various questions not only on ethics but also on sociality that is highly specific to the economy of the human body. This study explored anthropological research on organ transplantation, reproductive medicine, and end-of-life care, and developed theoretical conceptions and frameworks for the affect in economic anthropology. The results of the studies have been presented at international conferences (e.g. IUAES, 4S) and also published as academic papers and the book (in Japanese).
