Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this project, we investigated on the effect of income distribution policy, like public pension, welfare program on Japanese economy. Especially, we analyzed these impacts with micro data surveys of Japanese elderly households, JSTAR, and Japanese corporate activities, Basic Survey of Japanese Business Structure and Activities.
Research questions are as below: Self-help impact of public pension benefits, constraing effect on the elderly's labour supply, explanatory factors of application for the welfare program, corporate's social security contributions, donation activities in the earthquake disaster, and so on.
