Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In recent years in Japan, modern art projects incorporating the local histories and lives in the surrounding areas have been developed, which brought out a challenge of studying what potentials the new approaches for landscape creation through the modern art projects have from the perspective of community renovation and revitalization. This study, through the analysis of landscape creation activities through the modern art in the surrounding areas in Japan, examined the potential of spontaneous community renovation utilizing the regional unique resources by the art projects.
