Research Abstract |
Silicon-on-Insulator pixel detector which equips new readout scheme called PIXOR was developed for the first time, and was characterized. The PIXOR is a readout scheme to improve the position resolution and reduce the number of readout channel. We observed using the first chip PIXOR1 that almost same charges are readout by X and Y channels and prove the core of PIXOR readout scheme. We also checked digital readout circuit in PIXOR2 chip and confirmed that PIXOR2 has enough functionaries and readout speed to be used for Belle II experiment. PIXOR3 were developed based on PIXOR1 and PIXOR2 to check the chip is useful for Belle II experiment.
