Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study is to get basic knowledge about strategies to evacuate from Tsunamis. Therefore this study performs two following analyses based on the actual situation of the tsunami evacuation in the Great East Japan Earthquake. The first analysis is to grasp of the secular change of the residents’ attitude to tsunamis. After the Great East Japan Earthquake, the tsunami warning by the Meteorological Agency was improved, and the new assumption of tsunami height by the Nankai trough earthquake was announced. I analyze the influence that these information gives to residents. The second analysis is to examine that tsunami evacuation information strategy based on characteristics of understanding about tsunami and evacuation information. Specifically, I developed new tsunami hazard map. And I examine strategies about evacuation information in a normal period by measuring the publication effects of hazard map.
