Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Production of nonspherical food-grade solid lipid microcapsules as novel food delivery systems that are expected to improve access and utilization efficiency of food functional components was investigated. Uniformly sized food-grade nonspherical solid lipid microcapsules were obtained by adequately selecting food-grade components including high-melting point lipid and functional food components. The use of microchannel array chip enabled shape control of nonspherical solid lipid microcapsules.
