Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Long-term rising trend in temperature in coastal sea and changes in terrestrial water dynamics induced by concentrated heavy rain may have impact on coastal fisheries ground. In this study, we quantified the impact of these climate changes on survival rate of bivalves using the results of field observations and experiences, and the coupling land-ocean model in Nanao Bay, a semi-enclosed bay located on the eastern coast of Noto Peninsula. The developed system used for the high resolution simulation of the habitat suitability of bivalves.
