Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In the study of every period, cell adhesion on explanted intraocular lens(IOL) had less tendency than the previous study. But there was special cases, such as loss of vision by a large number of cell adhesion on IOL. Although the reason for IOL explantation was often IOL dislocation, there was case of dislocation due to modified in the IOL haptics by contraction of the lens capsule. For the study of surface modified IOL with photocatalyst, it is to be prepared to coated dish and IOL with peroxotitanic acid sol aqueous solution or hybrid of titanium oxide and copper,we were planning to enforce the experiment of lens epithelial cell culture and implantation of coated IOL with photocatalyst.
