Research Abstract |
We investigated the collecting lymphatic vessels of the human body histopahologically. The lymphatic vessels were taken during lymphatico-venous anastomosis (LVA) surgery, in which we trim redundant part. We found the changes in lymphatic endothelial cells, smooth muscle cells, and collagen fibers. Also, we examined and treated neonatal lymphatic pleural effusion and ascites, using indocyanine green lymphography and LVA.
