Research Abstract |
The purpose of this study was to clarify the involvement of Plasmin-induced COX-2 and PKC activation. As a result, plasmin evoked intracellular Ca2+ mobilization and COX-2 expression, which consisted of Ca2+ release from the intracellular pools and Ca2+ entry from extracellular sites in human dental pulp cells. Further, PKC signaling is also involved in COX-2 production by Plasmin
