Outline of Final Research Achievements

Influence of intraoral morphology on upper airway patency of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) patients was determined by three-dimensional evaluation with a surface laser scanner. Labial tipping of incisor seen in patients with small mandible increased intraoral volume, and it make compensation upper airway patency for their disadvantageous maxillomandibular morphology.
