Research Abstract

I examined the expression of tumour suppressor gene (E-cadherin,p16,MGMT,DAP-K,MLH1) in oral squamous cell carcinoma cell line ZA using RT-PCR. MGMT,DAP-K and MLH1 were not expressed in ZA. ZA cells were added to Xenopus oocyte extracts (5,000 cells/ul extract) and incubated for 3,6,9 hours. Cells were collected and processed for RNA extraction. I examined the expression of tumour suppressor gene (MGMT,DAP-K,MLH1) in treated cells using RT-PCR. However, I did not recognize the significant difference.
