Outline of Final Research Achievements

We conducted the survey for breast cancer patients who underwent breast reconstruction surgery and revealed information needs and difficulties prior to decision making about breast reconstruction. Based on these results, we developed the educational tool using the tablet information device by which breast cancer patients themselves can perform self-learning about breast reconstruction with mastectomy. This program suggested the efficacy to promote satisfaction of decision making.
