Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aimed at clarifying experiences, perceived challenges, attitudes, and values among maternal health care providers in Japan. First, literature reviews were conducted to identify characteristics of Japanese maternal health care system through comparisons with other developed countries. Secondly, using a mixed methods design (qualitative > quantitative), semi-structured interviews were conducted with a total of 24 obstetricians, neonatologists, and nurse-midwives in Japan.
