Research Abstract |
The molecular-developmental mechanism of exaggerated morphology (i.e. weapons & ornaments) are investigated in horned flour beetle. Next generation sequencing and following RNAi-based gene-knockdown implied that several genes are involved in the plastic regulation of weapon sizes.
