| Scientific Significance and Expected Research Achievements |
組織や器官などの構造や機能を作る現象である細胞選別現象の理解は、生命科学分野における重要な研究課題である。本研究は過去の十分な蓄積に裏打ちされた明確な方向性を示されていると評価でき、生命現象解明の数理解析としての方法論を与える可能性があると期待できる。数学に限らず、生命科学等の広い学術分野に波及効果があると評価できる。
