| Scientific Significance and Expected Research Achievements |
超伝導物質を対象とした第一原理計算の手法を開発し、新超伝導体の探索、物質設計、さらには超伝導に関わる物性パラメータ－の計算手法の確立を図る研究である。室温超伝導の可能性を探るといった学術的意義の大きさのみならず、本研究で開発したコードの公開による広範な物質科学者に対する貢献も期待できる。
