Scientific Significance and Expected Research Achievements

21世紀の自然災害リスクと社会変動を踏まえた災害共生型都市ビジョンの実現可能性を探求するため、過去の大震災後の復興過程を今後の持続可能性の中で検証するとともに、住宅政策、都市計画、自立分散型の災害対応システムを組合わせた都市ビジョンを各地域特性を考慮して提示する点に学術的意義がある。過去の施策に対する考証と将来に向けた課題解決策の提案が期待される。
