Scientific Significance and Expected Research Achievements

RIと蛍光/発光の同時撮影が可能なイメージング技術を開発し、微生物と植物の間での栄養の動態や干ばつや塩害土壌でのリンやナトリウムの動態を解析する研究である。糸状菌による生育促進や、干ばつ初期でのリン酸欠乏など最近の重要な発見を解析対象にしており、特定の分子や微生物が物質動態を制御する現場の可視化が期待できる。
