Scientific Significance and Expected Research Achievements

気候変動研究に向け、リモートセンシング技術を植物の生理状態を把握する手法として新たに導入した点に新規性・有用性がある。植物にハイパースペクトル入射光を照射し、その分光特性を基に植物生理特性への理解と気候変動問題に貢献しようとする内容で、世界をリードする可能性を秘めた研究内容である。
