Scientific Significance and Expected Research Achievements	小胞体に比べて理解が遅れているゴルジ体カルシウムイオンの動態・生理機能について、独自開発されたイメージング技術、カルシウムポンプSPCA1aの分子構造解析、カルシウム恒常性維持機構の破綻がもたらす細胞機能異常の解析などを組み合わせて総合的な理解を目指す研究提案であり、基礎生物学にとどまらず医学的にも重要な知見をもたらすことが期待される。
