Scientific Significance and Expected Research Achievements

発生期とは異なり、成体では環境などから受ける影響によって寿命や病気といった表現型に個体差が生じることから、その分子基盤の解明が極めて重要である。本研究は学術的にも応用的にも重要であり、具体的な実験計画の記述や分子基盤解明に向けた予備データの記述が十分で本研究の実現性は高い。成体において表現度を制御するメカニズムと健康寿命を支える共通原理の解明が期待される。
