Scientific Significance and Expected Research Achievements	造血幹細胞の体内動態について、骨髄だけでなく血流を介した骨髄間移動という新しい概念に着目して、その詳細を明らかにしようとする独創的な研究である。最先端の解析手法を駆使して、造血幹細胞の骨髄間移動の実態を造血幹細胞集団レベルで解明を目指しており、HSCの体内動態の詳細とこれを制御する因子の解明により、造血幹細胞移植における生着促進やMDSなどの幹細胞疾患の病態解明にも繋がると期待される。
