| Scientific Significance and Expected Research Achievements |
光や音などの外部刺激を与えたときの魚群行動の観測データを収集・解析して魚群行動の数理モデルを構築し、数理モデルに基づいて魚群を漁網に適切に誘導・滞留・避難させるための手法を確立する研究であり、学術的意義がある。フィールド実験で水槽実験から生け簀、実海域実験へ段階的にスケールアップして有効性を検証する点も期待できる。
