Scientific Significance and Expected Research Achievements	今日のメディア環境・情報利用環境の急速な変化が、「想像の共同体」としてのナショナリズムに与える影響を解明しようとする構想には意味があり、メディア研究として挑戦性が高い。メディアとナショナリズムの従来の理論枠組みからの脱却を意図し、「想像の共同体」としてのnation 成立を考察するという研究構想は、意欲的であり挑戦性が高い。
