Scientific Significance and Expected Research Achievements	シングルセル画像解析により、ウイルスの潜伏感染細胞をオルガネラを含めて形態的に解析するという手法には、これまでの研究にない新しさがあり、本研究はまさに挑戦的といえる。近年の画像解析技術を導入した形態学手的解析を試みる点にも期待が持てる。ウイルスの潜伏感染は科学的、社会的重要性の高い問題であり、本研究の成果は感染症研究分野において大きな変革・転換をもたらす可能性を有している。
