Outline of Annual Research Achievements

「地理情報システム利用によるレアプランツのインベントリーと有用性・安全性の評価」を開始し,漢方薬素材の代替または補完医薬素材になり得ると考えられるレアプランツの探索研究を展開した.当初の対象国としてカンボジア国内の主要な機関・地域を訪問し,産業化の可能性ある種類(5属)を中心に探索収集した.また,日本と同じ日華植物区系に属すネパールでのインベントリー調査を終え,収集した植物試料の成分研究とその活性本体の解明に関して、連携研究者らと熊本大学院生博士課程前期の学生(卒論)により,研究成果をまとめた.そして,熊本大学チームにより生活習慣病及び抗炎症に対する活性評価モデルが整いつつあり,産業化を目標に有用植物の活性成分本体が解明されることが期待できるため,主要な6属(特に、GIS地理情報システムを使って生育敵地環境解明ためインベントリー調査を行なったヒマラヤ産ユリ科1種)の学術論文の投稿を急いでいる.そして現在までの調査試料を整理し,生活習慣病及び抗炎症に対する活性評価を進め,産業化の期待が出来る有用植物(衣・食・住+薬用)の成分研究及び遺伝情報の解析法(Genomic Bar Cording)によるソロモン諸島の種の同定作業が進められ,H30年後期を目処に,ネパール・ヒマラヤで蒐集した植物試料の活性評価,そして活性本体に関わる新規成分の単離同定を含めた包括的な研究がまとまられる予定である.本調査で蒐集した植物試料について,研究分担者と連携研究者らへ乾燥植物試料及び80%EtOH抽出乾燥物を送付した.各分担研究者へ,223点(初年度からの総計466点)を提供した.今後は数種に絞りGISによる環境要因による活性力の強弱とその成分変動の関係を解明する.
