Outline of Final Research Achievements

We developed methods for precisely imaging human body and its movement based on micro-Doppler effect due to motion of individual body parts observed with UWB (Ultra Wideband) radar.
Assuming various indoor and outdoor environments, multiple walking humans are identified and separately tracked. We also succeeded to establish a vital monitoring algorithm, with which respiration and heartbeat of multiple persons in a home or office can be measured remotely and simultaneously.
