Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Myeloid-derived suppressor cells are reported to modulate immunoresponses in tumor microenvironment. However, its detail charactaristics remain unknown. In the present project, we have revealed the anti-inflammatory role of myeloid-derived suppressor cells in tumor growth and metastasis using murine models. In detail, we evidenced that myeloid-derived suppressor cells produce anti-inflammatory lipid mediator prostaglandin D2 in tumor mass and metastatic tissue.
