Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this study, aiming to realize participatory video sensing and collection, we have developed mechanisms for (1) determining sensing granularity adaptively, (2) extracting interesting segments of video through real-time analysis. We have also developed middleware with those mechanisms for participatory sensing. Finally we evaluated the usefulness of the developed mechanisms by using the mobile phone application developed on top of the middleware.
