| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
We completed the following researches in 2015.
1. Resampling in DEA (Tone): We developed a new resampling model in DEA including future forecast, and applied the model to the dataset comprised of 19 municipal hospitals over three years in Japan.
2. Quatitative analysis of market oppotunity utilization in electric power companies (Tsutsui, Tone): We analized the System Reform in the electricity industry in Japan. The role of "Trading Division" is clarified under several different conditions.
3. Out-of-Sample evaluation framework for DEA with application in bankruptcy prediction (Ouenniche, Tone): We first introduced "Out-of-Sample" evaluation to DEA, and applied it to bankruptcy prediction model.
4. A dynamic-network slacks-based measure with an application to Japanes prefectures (Fukuyama, Hashimoto, Tone, Weber): We applied DN-SBM model where total output is jointly produced from human capital and phisical capital. The model is applied using pooled data on 47 Japanese prefectures during the period 2007-2009.
