Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In order to clarify Glycocalyx layer on vascular endothelial cells, a high resolution measurement technique for three-dimensional velocity distribution was developed by utilizing stealth fluorescent silica particles with a diameter of 100 nm coated with long chains of polyethylene glycol.. The developed technique was applied to endothelial cell cultured in a microfluidic device.
