| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
出芽酵母における糖鎖代謝の全容を把握するための研究を行った。本年度は新規なエンド-O-マンノシダーゼの遺伝子同定に向けた取り組みを行い、そのために繰越金の一部を研究補助者の雇用として用いた。遺伝子欠損株のライブラリーから200あまりの候補遺伝子の欠損株について遊離O型糖鎖の生成の有無についてのアッセイを行ったが、遊離糖鎖が生成しない株を単離することはできなかった。したがって、残念ながら新規なエンド-O-マンノシダーゼの遺伝子同定には至らなかった。
