Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Arab societies located in the arid region is an appropriate area for the examination of 'sustainability'. This research project aimed to study the coexistence between humans, and between human being and nature by the field research focusing on the water distribution, and by organizing an international and inter-disciplinary research team. Main fields of research are the oases in the Western Desert in Egypt, the oases in the southern Tunisia, a village in the Northern Jordan for comparison.
