Outline of Final Research Achievements

This study achieved the following: First, through a total of nine fieldtrips that we conducted in China, Russia, and India, we accumulated first-hand micro data regarding local political life in the three countries. Second, based on profound grass-root field information, we re-discovered and conceptualized specific features of rural political life, which preceding area studies solely dealing with one country have largely omitted. Third, we attempted to diffuse the above-mentioned research findings through academic lectures in Japanese university courses.
