| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
認知症は高次脳機能障害であり、その早期診断はアンケート式の問診だけに止まり、早期診断の技術およびその国際基準がまだ確立されていない。
本計画では、代表者らの今までの認知症早期診断に関する研究成果を生かして、まず、認知症早期診断に関する１）最先端研究状況の海外調査と２）標準化実験装置と客観的検査方法の研究開発を行った。
それから、開発した実験装置と客観的測定方法を活用し、認知検査、脳波の波形診断と機能的脳画像診断の統合手法を用いて３）国際的臨床実験を実施した。
最後に、認知症早期診断の最先端国際状況の海外調査研究の結果と、開発した実験装置・客観的検査方法および国際臨床実験との結果に基づいて、４）認知症早期診断の国際基準を提案した。
